Custom sizes are available for windows and sliding doors, while doorglass blinds are only designed to fit standard 1/2-view, 3/4-view, and full-view door entry door openings.

Paintable and stainable frames are available with Enclosed Blinds for hinged doors which we call entry doorglass. To paint or stain entry doorglass white frames, an adhesion promoter is required; entry doorglass oak frames are ready as is for either paint or stain. Urban Shades only supplies glass for windows and sliding patio doors so suppliers of the window sash or sliding door panel should be consulted about paint and stain options.

Yes, Low-E glass is available in most sizes of entry doorglass for hinged entry doors. For specific size availability, check our catalog. Low-E options are also available for Enclosed Blinds for windows and sliding patio doors. The supplier of the windows or sliding patio doors will assist with selecting Low-E options. Low-E is not available for Add-On Blinds.

There is hardly any needed at all. Enclosed Blinds are protected by tempered safety glass to eliminate dusting, tangled cords, and damage to blind slats. Learn more about Enclosed Blinds care and maintenance. Add-on blinds are designed to be easily removed and replaced if cleaning is necessary.
